Whitney+Nate | The Portraits | Walla Walla, WA Backyard Wedding

Ever since last summer, I noticed how a lot of the portrait time on wedding days would end up split into two segments. There’s the First Look which, by itself, is always amazing, followed by a bit of time for some planned portraits. And then there’s that time just before the sun goes down (usually during cocktail hour or while guests are eating) and we venture out again for more. I love this because of the variety of light I get and because during both portrait segments, it seems to be the perfect time for the bride+groom to take a break from their guests and enjoy each other’s company for a while. Throw in some really beautiful horses, and you get magical frames like you see above… 😉
