I’ve been waiting to share this wedding with you for way too long… Needless to say, I’m basically done submitting weddings to online publications. Don’t get me wrong, I think wedding blogs are great, but some of them require that you not share the weddings you shoot until they’ve published the wedding on their own site first—that is, if they’ve accepted it. So I’ve ended up waiting to share all these delightful images from last summer and fall until now! Sorry, but it just ain’t worth it! So all you wedding blog editors out there, if you see a wedding you’d like to share with your readers, hit me up! I’m more than willing to share!
Tara+Tanner celebrated with family and friends at the home of Tanner’s parents on a gorgeous September day. Tara, along with the help of the amazing Katie Ford, designed this wedding top to bottom. From the design of the invitations to every bit of bunting you see above. Tanner helped, too, by brewing homemade beer for guests! But really, the best part about this wedding was the simple, happy energy everyone put into the day. Not a stressful bone in anyone’s body. And to be honest, that seems to be the common theme with backyard weddings, which is why they are always my favorite. It’s one of those things I wish I could go back and change about my own wedding… If I only knew the possibilities then… For now, I soak up days like the one I shared with Tara+Tanner. We were so grateful to be there with them.
Tara+Tanner’s portraits are now up. They are full of beautiful, beautiful sunlight… So check ’em out!

Is it sad that amongst all these amazing photos, I just remember the guy holding two piece of fruit between his legs? 🙂
